Dr. Jim C. Bond has served as District Superintendent of the Kansas District Church of the Nazarene since July of 2014.

Prior to this, he served for nine years as Lead Pastor for Junction City Church of the Nazarene, in Junction City, KS. Dr. Bond has also pastored churches in Bedford, Ohio, and Cimarron, Kansas. Previous to serving as pastor in Kansas, Jim and Donna farmed potatoes with family in the San Luis Valley of Colorado while working bi-vocationally in the Valley Church of the Nazarene for nine years. Before this, Jim was the Junior High Youth Pastor at Bethany First Church of the Nazarene in Bethany, Oklahoma for four years. Dr. and Mrs. Bond are graduates of Southern Nazarene University in Bethany, Oklahoma. He also received his Masters in Theology at Southern Nazarene University. In May of 2022, MidAmerica Nazarene University bestowed on him an Honorary Doctorate of Divinity.  
Additionally, Dr Bond has served as Chairman of the Board of Trustees for MidAmerica Nazarene University for five years, served on the New Church Task Force for the Church of the Nazarene in USA/Canada, and is a Master Trainer for Dynamic Church Planting International. Jim has served as a Trustee to Nazarene Bible College, and been a member of the General Board for the Church of the Nazarene.
Jim and Donna (Cypert) have three sons and their families: Joe and Jesse of Oklahoma City; David and Bethany of Wichita, Kansas, with granddaughters Eliza, Scottie and Maisie; Zachary and Avery of Durham, North Carolina with grandsons Ira and Isaac.
